Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kamal Srinivasan, operating E-product at e-product.shop (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your personal information. It is written in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By placing an order, you consent to the use of your information as described here.

1. Information we collect

• Order details: your IMO ID or mobile number, your WhatsApp number if you choose to give one, and the mobile number you enter on the Razorpay payment page. We do not ask for your name, address or email to place an order.
• Payment information: payments are handled by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password. We only receive the payment ID, amount and status. Razorpay may collect contact details such as your email during checkout under its own privacy policy.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type and request logs, used only for security and fraud prevention.

2. How we use it

• To process and deliver your order.
• To send you order updates and respond to your support requests.
• To prevent fraud, process refunds, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing, and we do not send promotional messages.

3. Sharing

We share information only with Razorpay to process payments and refunds, with our hosting and database providers who store it on our behalf to run the Website, and with government authorities when required by law.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored on secured servers, protected by access controls, and is accessible only to us. The Website uses HTTPS encryption. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support and to meet legal and tax requirements, typically up to 8 years. After that they are deleted.

6. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by contacting the Grievance Officer below. We respond within 30 days. Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons.

7. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To save you retyping, your browser may remember your last order ID and the details you entered, on your device only. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings. Razorpay's checkout may use cookies needed to complete a payment securely.

8. Children

The Website is not intended for children under 18 without the supervision of a parent or guardian.
